What is Ulthera?

Ulthera or ultherapy is a treatment method that uses focused sound waves to reach 3 mm of the skin and 4.5-5 mm deep tissues that other non-surgical methods, monopolar radiofrequency, bipolar radiofrequency and lasers cannot reach, and is based on triggering collagen production.

Ulthera is a focused ultrasound device used in conjunction with imaging ultrasound, which can affect the connective tissue by focusing 5 mm below the skin without damaging it. It creates heat damage that contracts, renews and stretches the connective tissue layer under the skin and the subdermal layer with focused ultrasound power by sending pulses by seeing under the skin. I call this procedure non-surgical facial aesthetics, which is performed by creating small healing chambers under the skin.

During the application, the subcutaneous tissues are triggered like a sewing machine. With Ulthera, a non-surgical skin tightening or cheek lifting method, the loosening, softening and sagging caused by time and gravity in the skin and subcutaneous tissues are treated. With Ulthera, the result obtained after a 30-60 minute session, depending on the application area, is achieved by strengthening and triggering the skin and subcutaneous connective tissue.

It is now possible to treat wrinkles with Ulthera’s newly produced 1.5 mm heads. Ulthera’s wrinkle treatment, unlike all other laser treatments, does not cause redness or peeling on the skin. With Ulthera, wrinkles around the eyes, wrinkles around the lips and mouth, neck wrinkles, and wrinkles on the cheeks can be treated in a way that is different from the classical Ulthera application.
